wtf GT5 graphics will look like, for some reason Sony is afraid to show the game, Im gambling that is because it DOES NOT look as good as Forza3. This is all we've seen of GT5 so far, and it don't look good.

if we can have a couple dozen PS3 fanboys a day declaring GT5 superior to Forza 3, even though we have yet to see any actual in game quality shots of GT5, no release date for GT5, and pretty much no information of features in GT5, then this author can write this article under the same circumstances. I don't think they should be forced, I think they should do it as a positive gesture to their customers. Like I said, this is effecting the units that cost 600 dollars! I would be furious if my $600 dollar product bricked after a year! And this is NOT a consumer issue, this is a design flaw with the console, it is not the fault of the consumer, Sony should show that they value their customers and fix it; specially if it is so few units effected.

Most companies dont make 600 dollar products that brick after 13 months, but when they do, it should be covered for free or the warranty should be extended. everyone so butthurt over this. Sony is a billion dollar corporation, they can take care of themselves. This is a good thing, the more negative press this issue gets, the more likely Sony is to stop charging people to have it fixed! This problem is Sony's fault, not the consumers, so Sony should be fixing it for free. IF this problem effects as few systems as all you people claim, then that's all the more reason Sony should just cover it free of charge.

you guys said only the American media bashes PS3 because 360 is an American console. After reading from EG we all see how ridicules that theory is. Sites say negative things about Sony/PS3 because Sony does a LOT of questionable sh%t. PSPGO is just the latest stupid move by Sony. Halo Reach launches and looks better than anything ever done on PS3, all the PS3 fanboys will say it's because this guy worked on it LOL just wait and see.

To be honest they both look like Xbox games, the graphics are not one of the strengths of this game.

Also I call BS on these screenshots, this site is exaggerating the difference, the PS3 shots were taken in higher resolution, talk about cheating.
this game is old news, I played this a long time ago, it had better look better now that they have made it twice.
and to the others above, I didn't say Sony should extend the warranty just because Microsoft did, I said they should extend the warranty because this is a KNOWN design flaw and ongoing issue that effects people just by using their systems as they were intended. This and the blue light issue are issues we saw ALOT at bestbuy, the failure rate for PS3 is at least 15 to 20 % by the way, no way its just 10%, even if I just counted the people I know with PS3s and not all the defective units I saw ...
is the new benchmark, GT5 not only has no certain release date, but we have seen little to none of it, and the latest screen shots we have seen of GT5( http://jalopnik.com/5351940... ) are no where near as good looking as what we have seen from Forza III, so until GT5 launches and does better, or at least shows us more of what it will have to offer, Forza III is the new king.
or 510% I don't think consumers should have to pay for known hardware defects or issues, Sony should extent the warranty for this the way MS did for the RROD and E74 issues.
uploading gameplay to the web for sharing. I think that is one of the things I loved about Halo 3 so much, uploading screen shots. That will be a welcome feature in this beautiful game for sure, day one purchase.

The PS3 and 360 have very dumb processors. The best way to explain it is like this. Say you have a calculator that does only multiplication tables, but it does them faster than any other calculator in the world. Then say you have a scientific and financial calculator that does financial formulas and trig formulas at super speeds, well this is the way the Cell and the 360 CPUs are compared to say an Intel i7, the Cell would be the calculator that only does multiplication tables, but does them ...

Cuz I'm pretty sure we know little to nothing, including a release date about GT5. And Im pretty sure they have showed little to no ACTUAL INGAME footage of GT5, for some suspicious reason.
